UPPER POTTSGROVE — Fire gutted a home at 1337 N. State St. Thursday afternoon, causing $200,000 in damage to the structure alone, officials said.

Firefighters from the Upper Pottsgrove Township Fire Company stopped a blaze that destroyed the living room of a home on Farmington Avenue near West Moyer Road. The call for the fire came in around 11 a.m. and firefighters quickly extinguished it.
